So I was thinking of heading out at 6:00, and I was wondering what temperatures are considered to be safe to surf w/out a wetsuit.. I don’t know how to read surf line, or surf report.. should I just head out into the water and go for it?

Because it’s around winter time, I like to do my summer shopping now because things are less expensive. I will be going to surf camp next summer, and i need a new surf board. Can you help me or give me a website where I can find an inexpensive surfboard? Thank you =]

I always see someone saying “oh, this is not a scam”, but they never take the burden of proof upon themselves. Namely, to have you pay them only when you start making a convincing amount of money to prove that they are not scamming. Of course they are scamming! What I really wonder is why is no one shutting them down or checking them out. They are preying on the most vulnerable - people who need to stay with their families or find it hard to make ends meet, or are simply unable to find doable work.

Let’s demand that job offers that cause people to send money bare the burden of proof and have to report to a govenment agency.

Any better suggestions?

Hi everyone~
I am 15.I am weighing my options for this summer. I am kind of confused about which to do. I am a surfer. I really love the outdoors. I love camping and hiking. Swimming, Boogie boarding are great too. I am looking for an experience that will help me to learn to be more independent and build self confidence. So what do you think would be better I have never done either one of these camps. A 15 day action packed adventure camp that has surfing and hiking and loads of other stuff, a week long surf camp that has surfing and wake boarding and boggie boarding, or a two week long surf camp that has surfing and a few more activities than the one week has. Which should I choose? If you have been to an adventure camp or a surf camp your input would be greatly appreciated. I have only been to one two night camp when I was much younger.

I’m 40 years old and searching craiglist for a surf board. I’ve never surfed before and I’m not sure what size of board I need. I’m 5′4 if that even matters. I will be surfing in San Diego area, would I need a wetsuit or a summer suit? Do I need booties? Thank you.
